1. Digital Platform
TippaMe is a fully digital gratuity platform. We do not sell or deliver any physical goods. All services provided by TippaMe are delivered electronically upon successful payment processing and confirmation.
2. Gratuity Payment Processing
When a customer submits a gratuity payment through TippaMe:
- The transaction is submitted to our payment processing provider immediately
- The customer receives an on-screen confirmation upon successful processing
- An email transaction receipt is sent to the customer's email address if provided
- The gratuity amount, net of applicable fees, enters settlement processing and is enters scheduled settlement disbursement processing upon confirmation
3. Settlement Disbursements to Service Professionals
When a Service Professional requests a settlement disbursement from their TippaMe pending balance:
- Disbursements are processed via our payment provider to the Service Professional's verified South African bank account
- Settlement processing times are subject to standard South African banking clearing procedures
- Real-Time Clearance (RTC) disbursements are typically received within minutes to a few hours during banking hours
- Standard EFT disbursements may take 1–2 business days depending on the receiving bank
- TippaMe is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or banking systems
4. Service Availability
TippaMe aims to maintain 24/7 platform availability. In the event of planned or unplanned maintenance, we will endeavour to notify users in advance where possible. TippaMe is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by third-party payment providers, banking systems, or events outside our reasonable control.
